Altars of Sorrow
Altars of Sorrow was a short machinima cinematic I worked on back in 2019 for the University of Utah's Machinima class. I worked as the writer, editor, and sound designer for the machinima, along with pitching the original idea. The cinematic is about the struggle of Deschia, a woman who is targeted by the gods Lachlor and Azine, and is based on the Greek myth of Io.

Below is the original pitch for the cinematic:
Contribution: Narrative and Creative Director
My main contribution was the creative oversight for the project, to ensure that the assets and telling of the story matched the goal theme and tone of the story. This also translated directly into the writing I did dialogue and narrative for the story.
Contribution: Sound Design
My secondary contribution was editing audio, collecting audio samples, writing the music, and recording dialogue for the cinematic.
